It’s currently winter in the Cape Winelands, and the annual Bastille festival is just around the corner. If you haven’t had the chance to attend the Franschhoek Bastille Festival before, I highly recommend it. The festival takes place on July 13-14, 2024 in the historic town of Franschhoek.

The town is about to come alive with fresh, warm gourmet food and amazing French winesThis will give all visitors a chance to experience a taste of France in South Africa, where they can wear their French-inspired outfits with pride.

The town offers a vibrant main road filled with lively street entertainment of local drummers, musicians and performance artists. Even though there is much to do in the town. The action all takes place at the festival getting an experience and tasting the wines of more than 25 French-inspired wines.
