This is not going anywhere in 2024. Thrifting and restoring furniture continue to gain popularity, too, along with the use of vintage-style pieces.

Smart home systems remain popular, even with the hints of vintage aesthetics making a comeback. Especially smart lights that can help transform the mood of a room with a push of a button or voice command.
Luckily, smart home hubs look better and often blend seamlessly into most spaces. So, we won’t need to worry about tech looking a little garish on our thrift server table.

However, we won’t have to worry about blending things in too much, because bold colours are in! Gone are the days of playing it safe with neutral colours like grey and beige. 2024 sees a resurgence of bold and vibrant hues, like brown, forest green, and splashes of pinks and reds.
