“Growth” is a graduation project by design duo Ayaskan and has the potential to completely transform container gardening, one fold at a time.
Twin brothers, Bike and Begum Ayaskan, based in London, created “Growth” as their graduation project for the Royal College of Art. Through its clever origami design the containers mimic nature’s ability to grow and transform.
“Growth” is able to expand five to six times its original volume, meaning no more repotting. As the plant grows the container “stretches” all you have to do is add more soil.
