The East Coast Radio House & Garden Show is bigger and better than before, so don’t miss this highlight of the KZN winter season

Bring the whole family and ‘Make Yourself at Home’ from 28 June to 7 July at the Durban Exhibition Centre. Whether it’s gardening, decor, design, DIY, the latest tech, appliances, competitions and exclusive show deals, this year’s East Coast Radio House & Garden Show has it all.

Home-grown Design & Food Fair

Showcasing the incredible talent of KZN’s crafters, creators and designers, the Home Grown Design & Food Fair is a feast for the senses. Local eateries will be serving some of Durban’s tastiest dishes, there will be craft gin, beer on tap and even bespoke bubbly creations. Live music by amazing local young artists provides even more entertainment, making the fair an amazing fusion of KZN craft, food and music.

Inspirational decor and design trends

The South African Institute of Interior Design Professions (IID) has chosen some of Durban’s top interior designers to bring the latest design and decor trends to life. Be inspired by simple, practical tips you can copy in your own home.

The Discover Durban Design Installation features both well-known and up-and-coming Durban artists in a superb collection of fashion and jewellery design which also includes furniture, ceramics and textiles.

Tiny living, sustainable living

‘Work anywhere, live anywhere’ has become a major global trend, and with it the need for stylish, compact homes that promote energy efficiency and sustainable living. Visitors will have the opportunity to be the first in South Africa to walk through one of these cleverly designed small homes.

Gardening tips and treasures

Melanie Walker of Mel’s Treasures and the star of TV’s Gardening 101 will bring a whole new world of gardening inspiration to the East Coast Radio House & Garden Show. You will also be able to see her beautiful garden installation ‘A Garden Sanctuary’ at the main entrance to the hall. You’ll leave filled with ideas for your own garden!

The East Coast Radio House & Garden Show is bringing back favourites such as the Builder’s Pavilion. The perfect hang-out for DIY-enthusiasts, you’ll get to see the latest in home improvements and enjoy informative demonstrations. Hirsch’s will also be on hand with the latest tech and appliances.
