If you’d like to give your living room a red-hot update on a budget, Mr Price Home has accessories to help you create a red, grey and black Boho chic look that is perfect for winter.

Here are a few of our favourite items from the collection and suggestions to help you get the look in your living room…

Go grey before you makeover your living room with red

Of course red looks great with white or cream, but this urban look is set with a combination of black and grey as the base for this look.

Neutral colours, like grey, help balance red while touches of black help ground the look.

You may want to paint walls grey, consider getting a grey sofa, like the Rio two seater sofa (R7 000) or get existing sofas reupholstered in a classic grey.

Throw on the colour

Now for the fun part – playing with colour.

Dress your sofas with gorgeous embroidered Boho roses scatter cushions, 40x60cm (R199,99)classic check scatter cushions in chilli red, 60x60cm R179,99  and plain chilli red tweedle weave 48x48cm scatter cushions R89,99

You could also add a Boho floral floor cushion 80x80cm (R399,99) to the room for easy-to-tuck-away extra seating when you need it.

Back to black

To balance all the red cushions on sofas, add black and grey scatters, like this charcoal check scatter cushion 60x60cm (R179,99) and tweedle weave 60x60cm scatter cushion R149,99

Another way to add black is with these round nested side tables (R1 800)

Shine on

To stop this look from becoming dark, add shimmery gold and copper to add warmth and reflect natural light.

You could add a beaten metallic side table (R899,99) and create a gallery wall with copper look mirror gallery frames, 20x25cm (R139,99)
