DIY: Origami Easter bunny

Add some playfulness to your Easter table setting with this adorable, yet sophisticated, origami bunny made from a paper serviette. NetFlorist shows you how…

What you’ll need:

  • A good quality paper serviette
  • Ribbon
  • Cotton wool ball

How to make the origami bunny:

Step 1: Open out a good quality paper serviette.

Step 2: Fold in half lengthwise.

Step 3: Fold it in half to mark the centre line. Open again and fold one side at a 45° angle so that the edge is aligned with the centre. Reopen.

Step 4: Create a diamond bottom shape by folding the bottom into a triangle.

Step 5: Create a kite shape folding the corners inwards, so that they are both just off centre.

Step 6: Turn the serviette over so that the back of the design faces you. Fold the point inwards to create a triangle.

Step 7: Roll the top corner inwards until it is just past the centre. Repeat. Fold the left side over the right side, tucking it into the little side pocket  of the left side.

Step 8: To complete the bunny tie a ribbon with a cotton wool ball around the base of the serviette.

Here’s wishing you a happy Easter!
