Open Plan
In small apartments, you won’t find space to fit dining tables. This doesn’t mean you have to resort to eating on the couch, though. With an open-plan kitchen, you can squeeze in a small bistro table and maybe two chairs. Choose unique combinations of tables and chairs with eye-catching designs to make the seating areas stand out. For larger apartments, consider using bigger tables as kitchen islands, with benches or stools underneath. This will help double your kitchen prep space and allow for entertainment when needed.

Home Office
While most workers have returned to the office, working from home is still more common than it used to be. This can be tough to manage in small spaces. Rather than working on your couch or the dining table, create a separate workspace in an unused space. The space doesn’t have to be large, as long as it fits the width of a chair and a table to turn into an office space. You can add a floating desk for some extra lights to brighten up darker areas.

Simply fold your linen to store at the bottom of the basket and top it with throws to create a cosy corner. Not only are tools easily accessible for use, but they are also kept stored in plain sight. The cosy corner helps improve the design of your small apartment.
