It’s almost time for Cape Town’s premier décor, design and lifestyle exhibition to wow the City with the latest and greatest innovative designs and styles.

As the destination of choice for creatives, the event promises to break old codes in design and create new collaborations in its 30th year. Last year, Decorex showcased the work of up-and-coming designers, artists and artisans to more than 21 000 visitors, and this year’s event promises to be even bigger.

More than 200 exhibitors will be featured this year, including online retailer Superbalist which will bring its virtual store to the show for the first time.

As per News24, executive creative director Decorex Africa Bielle Bellingham says South Africa’s top design authorities will address some key issues faced by the design industry. ‘This year we have the Future of Design, with an impressive lineup of South Africa’s top design authorities talking about some of the most pressing issues currently facing the design industry and revealing the approaches they are taking to future proof their output.’
