This tasty crostini is the perfect seafood snack for your next dinner party.

You will need

  • 200g raw prawn meat
  • ½ cup Gruyere, grated
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese,
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons chopped chives
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Dash Paprika
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 1 French loaf


  1. For the filling mix together all the ingredients, leaving extra cheese for the topping. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside in the fridge until ready to use.
  2. Cut the French loaf into rounds about 1cm thick and place on a baking tray. Brush with olive oil and grill the one side until toasty and then turn over.
  3. Place spoonfuls of the prawn mixture on the toasts. Sprinkle with leftover cheese and grill until browned and bubbling. Serve hot.
