Surprise your guests when cutting open this fruity cake

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 large watermelon cut into a cylinder resembling a cake shape
  • 500ml whipped cream

TO SERVE

  • Nuts like almonds, pistachios or walnuts and fresh fruit such as blueberries, strawberries, cherries and kiwi fruit

METHOD

  1. Pat the watermelon down with paper towel to dry it.
  2. Smooth over the whipped cream to cover the top and sides completely.
  3. Decorate the sides with nuts and berries.
  4. Decorate the top with the fresh fruit of your choice.
