If flowers are your go-to Valentine’s gesture, Café Sofi in Gardens is offering a fresh – and wonderfully playful – twist on tradition this year.

On 13 and 14 February, the much-loved neighbourhood restaurant will transform part of its space into a charming balloon flower market, where guests can pick up colourful, air-filled “blooms” instead of the usual roses and lilies. It’s a fun, feel-good take on gifting that feels just as thoughtful, but a little more light-hearted.

The pop-up market will be set up in-store for two days, allowing visitors to browse an array of vibrant balloon bouquets while enjoying Café Sofi’s warm, stylish atmosphere. Whether you’re treating a loved one, a friend, or even yourself, these whimsical creations make for a memorable keepsake that won’t wilt by the end of the evening.

Bouquets can be pre-booked via Dineplan, or purchased on the day while stock lasts – perfect for spontaneous romantics or those who prefer to plan ahead.

True to its identity, Café Sofi continues to blend elegance with a touch of eccentricity. Inspired by Sophia Electra – a woman described as both refined and delightfully unconventional – the space reflects her spirit through its décor, menu, and now, this creative Valentine’s activation.

So, if you’re looking for something different this Valentine’s Day, why not stop by Café Sofi, pick up a balloon bouquet, and take a little joy home with you?
