Step 1: Re-cut the stems of your roses at an angle under water.

Step 2: Remove any leaves that’ll be below the water line in the vase; these will cause the quality of the water to deteriorate quicker.

Step 3: Add cut flower food to the water in the vase.

Step 4: Change the water every few days, re-cutting the stems if necessary.

Step 5: Soak florists’ oasis in cold water for an hour before using it. Ensure the oasis doesn’t dry out; keep your arrangement in a cool or shady spot, out of full sun, especially if you’ll be displaying it outdoors.
